Description
The Airmar SS175H is a 1 kW High CHIRP thru-hull transducer that excels at high-resolution target separation in shallow to mid-range water. Its single broadband ceramic element sweeps 130 to 210 kHz, resolving individual fish, bait balls and fine bottom structure with exceptional clarity to a maximum of around 1,000 ft (305 m). The narrow 10 to 6 degree beam keeps returns tight and detailed, ideal for inshore and coastal fishing where precise target identification matters.
The stainless steel housing suits fibreglass and wood hulls, and this 12 degree version is matched to hulls with 8 to 15 degrees of deadrise so the element fires vertically. A built-in depth and fast-response water-temperature sensor is included. The transducer terminates in a Navico XSonic black 9-pin connector on a 10 m cable for a direct connection to compatible 9-pin Simrad and Lowrance displays and sonar modules; legacy 7-pin XSonic displays connect using the 000-13977-001 adapter cable.
