Description
Replacement wind-speed bearing for B&G and Simrad masthead units. It supports the anemometer cup spindle, and a worn or salt-seized speed bearing is the usual reason a masthead unit under-reads in light winds or stops turning altogether.
The same bearing serves the 508, 608 and 213 masthead units, the Vertical MHU, and the WS300 and WS700 wind sensors - which makes it a sensible spare to keep aboard on any B&G rig.
