Description
The WTP3 Analogue Interface is one of two module types that connect the system's sensors to the WTP3 CPU, handling analogue data acquisition. It provides six analogue inputs - four 12-bit (three at -5V to +5V and one at 0V to 5V) and two 10-bit (0V to 5V) - together with two pulse inputs, allowing it to interface masthead units, paddlewheel speed sensors, analogue rate-gyros, potentiometers and similar devices. The module draws power from the CAN bus and can supply power to the connected sensors, and it can be sited anywhere on the CAN network with a unique device address set by DIP switches. A diagnostic LED indicates power and data activity. Supplied with a CAN cable and CAN T-piece for connection to the network.
