Description
This 83/200 kHz Skimmer transducer is the transom-mount sonar element supplied with Lowrance Cruise and HOOK2 fishfinders. It runs traditional 2D sonar on the 83 and 200 kHz frequencies, with 200 kHz giving a narrower, detailed beam for fish and structure and 83 kHz a wider beam for broader coverage.
The low-drag Skimmer housing mounts on the transom without hull penetration, and a built-in temperature sensor reports surface water temperature. The kick-up bracket protects the transducer from impact, and it connects to compatible Cruise and HOOK2 displays.
