Description
This is the extended stainless steel through-hull housing used by the long-stem version of ForwardScan, supplied on its own without the transducer. The longer stem is what allows ForwardScan to be fitted to thicker or more steeply angled hulls - up to 47.6 mm (1 7/8 inch) of hull thickness and up to 28 degrees of deadrise - where the standard housing would not protrude far enough.
It uses the standard 2-inch stainless through-hull fitting, so the transducer plug can be withdrawn with the boat afloat. Order this part when replacing a corroded or damaged housing on an existing installation, or when the complete long-stem transducer kit is not required.
