Description
The Garmin B260 is a popular narrow-beam 1 kW bronze thru-hull transducer prized for its deep-water performance. Its dual-frequency 50/200 kHz element delivers a wide 19 degree beam at 50 kHz for broad coverage and depth penetration, and a tight 6 degree beam at 200 kHz for crisp, high-resolution bottom and fish detail. Depth and water-temperature data are returned to compatible Garmin sounders.
Installed with its high-performance fairing, the B260 presents a truly vertical beam and performs well at speed. The transducer accommodates hull deadrise angles from 0 to 20 degrees and reads to between 1,800 and 2,500 ft. It terminates in an 8-pin Garmin connector on a 39 ft cable; a 6-pin Garmin sounder requires adapter cable 010-11612-00. Supplied with installation hardware and instructions.
