The Simrad HS75 is a GNSS satellite compass that delivers accurate heading and GPS position from a single solid-state unit with no moving parts. It outputs heading, position, course over ground and rate of turn over NMEA 2000 and NMEA 0183 for radar overlay, chart orientation and autopilot steering. Because heading is derived from satellites it is unaffected by onboard magnetic interference.

Description

The Simrad HS75 GNSS Compass provides precise vessel heading and GPS positioning in one compact, solid-state device. Because it derives heading from satellite signals rather than a magnetic sensor, it gives a stable reference that is unaffected by onboard magnetic interference or nearby ferrous metal, making it well suited to steel vessels and installations close to engines and electronics.

With no moving parts to wear out or calibrate, the HS75 delivers heading, position, course over ground and rate of turn to compatible multifunction displays, radars and autopilots over NMEA 2000 and NMEA 0183. This supports radar overlay, chart orientation and stable autopilot steering.
