Description
The Icom HM-214H is a waterproof hand microphone for the GM800 GMDSS MF/HF marine transceiver. As the standard fist microphone for this Class A DSC system, it gives reliable push-to-talk operation in the demanding conditions found on commercial SOLAS regulated vessels. Its waterproof construction suits exposed helm and bridge positions, and it is also used with the IC-M803 and IC-M804 MF/HF SSB radios, both of which are based on the GM800 platform. The HM-214H is a direct replacement microphone for these MF/HF transceivers.
