Description
The Raymarine SmartController is a wireless autopilot remote and instrument repeater that puts full control of your Raymarine SeaTalk autopilot in the palm of your hand. From the cockpit, the foredeck or the rail, you can engage and adjust the autopilot and view live data, working wirelessly with the base station at ranges of up to 10 m (32 ft).
The bright backlit display offers user-definable pages of one, two or four lines of text plus graphics, with access to up to eight data pages. As well as full-function autopilot control, the SmartController works as a wireless instrument repeater, and includes keylock security, backlit buttons and local and system alarms. Note that the autopilot cannot be calibrated from the handset. A rechargeable battery provides up to around two weeks of operation per charge.
This product is the SmartController handset only. It is intended as a replacement or additional handset for a system that already has a SmartController base station.
