Description

The Raymarine SeaTalkng Backbone Kit contains everything needed to construct a multi-point SeaTalkng network on board. Use the backbone cables to run the length of the boat and provide connectivity wherever it is needed. T-pieces insert into the backbone to create spur connections for devices and sensors, the power cable energises the network and the blue backbone terminators complete the circuit at each end.

With a 20 m and two 5 m backbone cables plus four T-pieces, the kit suits larger installations spanning helm, mast and engine spaces.

How is the Backbone Kit different from the Starter Kit?
The Starter Kit builds a small network around a 5-way connector for one device. The Backbone Kit is larger, with 20 m and 5 m backbone cables and four T-pieces, to wire a full multi-point backbone the length of the boat.
