Description
The Simrad R3016 Halo 4 kit is a complete radar package combining a large R3016 16-inch radar control display with the solid-state Halo 4 open array radar. The 4 ft antenna narrows the horizontal beam to 1.8 degrees for excellent target separation and extends instrumented range to 64 nautical miles, all driven by a 25 W solid-state pedestal.
With no magnetron the radar is ready to transmit in 16 to 25 seconds from power-on and stays safe to run in harbours and marinas. The supplied RI-12 interface module brings NMEA 2000 and NMEA 0183 navigation data into the system, while the 16-inch R3016 display delivers full radar control and overlay. This package suits larger helms wanting a dedicated, big-screen radar station with sharper target discrimination.
