Description

The SmartPlug 30A boat inlet replaces the legacy twist-type shore power fitting that is the leading cause of shore power overheating and marina fires. Its push-in sleeve design lets the plug body carry the weight and movement of the cord instead of the electrical pins, so the contacts stay firm, cool and corrosion-free.

This version uses a non-metallic white cover moulded from UV- and heat-resistant material, a clean, low-cost finish that suits most hull and cockpit installations. It mounts over the existing twist-type hole pattern for a roughly 30-minute retrofit, is certified ETL and built to ABYC E-11, and accepts any SmartPlug 30A connector or cordset.

What do I need to plug into it?
Connect a SmartPlug 30A connector or a SmartPlug 30A cordset. The dock end of the cordset stays a standard twist-type plug that fits marina pedestals.
