Description

The SmartPlug 30A connector is the boat-side end of the shore power cord, and the part that makes an existing cordset safer to use. You simply cut off the old twist-type plug, strip the wires and fasten them into the colour-coded guides, turning any 30A cord into a push-in SmartPlug connection.

Large nickel-plated brass contacts give over 27 times the metal-to-metal area of a twist-type plug, while dual stainless side levers lock the connector into a SmartPlug inlet so cord movement never loosens the pins. A multi-fin cord seal keeps out spray and moisture. The connector requires a SmartPlug 30A inlet on the boat and is certified ETL to ABYC E-11.
