Description

The SmartPlug 30A boat inlet replaces the legacy twist-type shore power fitting that is the leading cause of shore power overheating and marina fires. Instead of a handful of curved pins that carry both the current and the weight of the cord, the SmartPlug uses a push-in sleeve design so the plug body absorbs the load and movement, keeping the electrical contacts firm, cool and corrosion-free.

This version is finished with a marine-grade 316 stainless steel cover for exposed helm, cockpit and topside locations. It mounts straight over the existing twist-type hole pattern, so a typical retrofit takes around 30 minutes. Certified ETL and built to ABYC E-11, it accepts any SmartPlug 30A connector or cordset and closes to a weatherproof seal when not in use.

Will it fit my existing twist-type inlet holes?

What do I need to plug into it?
Connect a SmartPlug 30A connector or a SmartPlug 30A cordset. The dock end of the cordset stays a standard twist-type plug that fits marina pedestals.
