Description
The Simrad HS100 wired handset and SP100 speaker kit adds a fully featured second control station to RS100 and RS100-B VHF radio systems. Up to four wired handsets and four speakers can be added to one system, letting you operate the radio from additional helm or cockpit positions. The handset is styled to match Simrad wireless handsets and multi-function displays, with a large clear white dot-matrix LCD, an inverted night mode for reduced light emission, dimmable backlighting and an alphanumeric keypad.
Each external SP100 speaker can be associated with a wired handset and given an individual volume offset, so a speaker mounted further from the user can be balanced for consistent volume across the boat. Handset speakers can also be turned off when only external speaker audio is wanted. Convenience features include easy channel scan and favourites, station naming and a 60-second audio rewind so a missed call can be replayed.
