Garmin B60 Depth and Temperature Through Hull with 20 deg Tilted Element Transducer 8 pin

The Garmin B60 is an entry-level bronze thru-hull transducer supplied with a 20 degree tilted element, so the acoustic beam fires vertically on hulls with a deadrise of 16 to 24 degrees without the cost or complexity of a separate fairing block. Its dual-beam 50/200 kHz element returns depth and water-temperature data, the wide 50 kHz beam covering more water for fish location and the narrow 200 kHz beam sharpening bottom detail.

The bronze housing is well suited to fibreglass and wooden hulls and must not be fitted to metal boats, where galvanic interaction can cause corrosion. It terminates in an 8-pin Garmin connector on a 39 ft cable; when paired with a 6-pin Garmin sounder an adapter cable is required. Supplied with installation hardware and instructions, which should be followed carefully to avoid damaging the hull.
