Description
The Garmin GSD 25 is a black-box network sonar module that adds high-performance fishfinding to a compatible Garmin chartplotter system. It combines dual-channel 1 kW traditional CHIRP with Garmin CHIRP ClearVu (DownVu) and CHIRP SideVu scanning sonar, so a single supported transducer can paint both the water column and detailed images of the bottom and structure to either side of the boat.
CHIRP processing sweeps a range of frequencies on each ping for sharper target separation and clarity, with traditional sonar reaching to 1524 m. The module mounts out of the way, connects to displays over the Garmin Marine Network and is rated IPX7. The transducer is sold separately.
