Description
The Garmin B744V Long Stem is an extended-stem version of the Airmar B744V triducer, combining depth, speed and water temperature in a single bronze housing. The longer stem is designed for steep deadrise vessels and thick or cored hulls, where additional length is needed to seat the housing correctly and present the active face cleanly to the water.
Its dual-beam 50/200 kHz element provides broad 50 kHz coverage for fish location and a narrow 200 kHz beam for bottom detail, while the integral paddlewheel reports through-water speed. The transducer accommodates hull deadrise angles from 0 to 24 degrees and terminates in an 8-pin Garmin connector on a 39 ft cable; a 6-pin Garmin sounder requires adapter cable 010-11612-00. Supplied with installation hardware and instructions.
