Description
The IC-M73EURO is a professional-grade handheld marine VHF radio that combines Icom's best waterproof protection with high power output and long battery life in a slim, ergonomic body. Tested to IPX8 it survives submersion in 1.5m of water for 30 minutes, so it keeps working in rain, snow and severe weather, making it a dependable choice for both leisure and commercial users.
A 6 watt transmit output delivers extended communication range, while a BTL amplifier drives the internal speaker to a loud 700mW for clear audio in noisy environments. The slim, hourglass body is comfortable to hold and durable for long service life, and a wide viewing-angle, high-intensity LCD keeps characters bright and easy to read. With the optional OPC-1392 adapter cable the radio supports VOX hands-free operation using a range of optional headsets. Additional features include the AquaQuake water-draining function, Dual and Tri-Watch monitoring, a four-level battery indicator, and favourite channel and tag scan functions. A rapid BC-210 charger is supplied.
