Description
The Icom UX-241 is an external GNSS antenna for compatible Icom fixed-mount marine VHF radios. It is the same external GNSS antenna supplied with the IC-M605EURO, and it provides accurate satellite position data to radios that rely on a position fix for DSC distress alerting and position reporting.
The UX-241 suits a range of Icom's advanced VHF/DSC sets, including black-box models such as the IC-M410BB and IC-M510BB and the IC-M510E and IC-M510EVO series. Installed where it has a clear view of the sky, it ensures latitude and longitude are logged and transmitted automatically, an important safety feature when help is needed at sea.
