Description

Designed with the customer in mind and built on the latest technology, the CombiMaster 24/2000-40 brings together an advanced battery charger and a quiet true sine wave inverter in one compact, lightweight unit. Despite its friendly appearance, this powerful Combi drives even the heaviest and most sensitive loads with ease, while delivering unmatched performance and value for money.

Power dips and failures become a thing of the past. The automatic AC transfer system switches seamlessly between mains or generator and inverter output to keep a constant supply, and the Power Assist function draws extra power from the 24V battery bank to prevent a weak shore connection or small generator from tripping the mains fuse. An intelligent 3-step+ charge characteristic delivers faster, safer charging for flooded, Gel, AGM and lithium batteries.

Integrated MasterBus, CZone and NMEA 2000 communication opens up a broad range of monitoring and system integration options across the vessel.

What does the Power Assist function do?
Power Assist draws additional power from the batteries and adds it to the shore or generator supply, so the combined output can run larger loads without tripping the AC input fuse. This is ideal when connected to a weak land line or a small generator.
Which battery types can the CombiMaster charge?
The intelligent 3-step+ charger uses an IUoUo characteristic and is configurable for flooded, Gel, AGM and Mastervolt Lithium Ion (MLI) batteries, with a maximum charge current of 40 A at 24 V.
How quickly does it switch between mains and inverter?
The automatic AC transfer system switches between mains or generator and inverter output in 10 ms, keeping connected equipment running without interruption.
What battery bank size is recommended?
Mastervolt recommends a 24 V battery capacity of 120-320 Ah based on gel batteries; the ideal figure may differ for other battery types.
How can the CombiMaster be monitored?
It is MasterBus compatible via a SmartRemote or EasyView 5 display, and CZone / NMEA 2000 compatible via a Touch 5, Touch 7 or Touch 10 display or a third-party multifunctional display.
