The Quantum Q24C is an 18-inch solid-state radome that uses CHIRP pulse-compression to deliver clear target detection from 24 nautical miles down to close range. It connects to a compatible Raymarine multifunction display by RayNet cable or built-in Wi-Fi, and draws just 17 W when transmitting. Supplied with a 10 m power cable.

Description

The Raymarine Quantum Q24C brings solid-state CHIRP pulse-compression radar to leisure and workboat helms in a compact 18-inch radome weighing only 5.6 kg. By transmitting a low-power CHIRP signal rather than a high-voltage magnetron pulse, Quantum resolves targets cleanly across the full range span, from distant landfall and weather at 24 nautical miles down to nearby buoys and vessels, with very little clutter to interpret.

Because the Q24C carries both a RayNet network connector and built-in Wi-Fi, you can wire it to your Raymarine multifunction display or link it wirelessly, simplifying mast and arch installations. Transmit power consumption is just 17 W, with a 7 W standby and a 2 W Wi-Fi sleep mode, so the radar is gentle on the vessel battery. There is no warm-up delay and no high-voltage emission, making Quantum safe to mount close to crew areas.

How does the Quantum Q24C connect to my multifunction display?
The Q24C has both a RayNet network connector and built-in Wi-Fi, so it can be wired to a compatible Raymarine MFD or paired wirelessly (87209 Rev 9).
Which Raymarine displays work with the Quantum Q24C?
Quantum is compatible with the New e, c and a Series, eS and gS Series, and Axiom, Axiom+, Axiom Pro, Axiom 2 Pro, Axiom XL and Axiom 2 XL displays running the required LightHouse software (87209 Rev 9).
What is the maximum range of the Quantum radar?
The Quantum offers range scales up to 24 nautical miles, with the shortest scale at 1/16 nautical mile (87209 Rev 9).
How much power does the Quantum draw?
Transmit power consumption is 17 W maximum, standby is 7 W, and the Wi-Fi sleep mode draws just 2 W (87209 Rev 9).
Is an inline fuse supplied with the radar?
No. The product requires a suitably-rated inline fuse fitted to the red power wire in a waterproof fuse holder; these are not supplied and must be obtained separately (87209 Rev 9).
