The Raymarine iTC-5 converts analogue depth, speed, temperature, wind and rudder transducer signals to SeaTalkng. It replaces multiple instrument pods with a single converter wired into the backbone. Pair it with an i70s for full transducer calibration and digital instrument data anywhere on the network.

Description

The Raymarine iTC-5 instrument transducer converter digitises your existing analogue transducers, converting depth, speed, temperature, wind and rudder angle signals onto the SeaTalkng backbone. Five transducer inputs with spade terminals replace a stack of separate instrument pods with one tidy bulkhead unit, drawing a typical 1.5 W from the network.

Pair the iTC-5 with an i70 or i70s display for full transducer calibration; ST70 and ST70+ can calibrate depth, wind and speed inputs, while i50, i60, i40 and ST60+ displays must keep their transducers connected directly. Extended SeaTalkng systems can carry multiple iTC-5 units for larger sensor fits, and a DST800 triducer can be wired in following Raymarine technical note 82299.

The converter connects into the backbone with the supplied 400 mm spur cable and powers the upgrade path from legacy ST60 era sensors to a modern digital network shared with chartplotters and autopilots.

Which transducer types does the iTC-5 convert?
Analogue speed and temperature, depth, wind and rudder angle transducers connect to the five spade terminal inputs, and a fluxgate compass can also be brought onto the network through the iTC-5.
Which displays can calibrate transducers connected to an iTC-5?
Only the i70 and i70s offer full transducer calibration. ST70 and ST70+ displays can calibrate the depth, wind and speed inputs but not rudder or compass. i40, i50, i60, ST40 and ST60+ displays cannot calibrate the iTC-5, so without an i70 or ST70 in the system those displays must keep their transducers connected directly.
Can I use more than one iTC-5 on a system?
Yes. Extended SeaTalkng systems can support multiple iTC-5 units for larger transducer fits.
Can I connect a DST800 triducer to the iTC-5?
Yes, with care over the screen connections. Raymarine technical note 82299 explains that only one screen connection is required, made to the Depth terminal, with the Speed and Temperature screen left disconnected.
