Description

The Simrad P3007 is a 7-inch full-touch colour GPS display that distributes accurate position, course, speed, time and navigation data to other bridge systems such as radar, ECDIS and autopilot. It offers type approved position, navigation, heading and trip log pages, along with an auxiliary AIS page, and a familiar touch menu that is easy to operate at a glance.

Combined with an approved GPS antenna or GPS compass, the P3007 becomes a type approved GPS system, serving as both a GPS navigator and a GPS compass in one solution. It is a direct replacement for the MX612, MX610 and GN70, and is retrofit friendly for legacy MX420, MX510 and MX512 systems. When paired with high-precision antennas it can be configured as a DGPS or transmitting heading device (THD).

The P3007 supports a wide range of I/O signal types and connects over NMEA 2000, NMEA 0183, Ethernet (IEC 61162-450) and a pulse speed log input. The system is scalable with MX610JB or MX612JB junction boxes, allowing up to 12 NMEA 0183 serial ports, and is IMO approved for SOLAS vessels.
