Description

The Simrad P3007 GPS System combines the 7-inch full-touch P3007 display with a GS70 GPS antenna for a complete, ready-to-install navigation solution. The system distributes accurate position, course, speed, time and navigation data to other bridge systems such as radar, ECDIS and autopilot, with type approved position, navigation, heading and trip log pages plus an auxiliary AIS view.

Acting as both a GPS navigator and a GPS compass in one solution, the P3007 system is a direct replacement for the MX612, MX610 and GN70, and is retrofit friendly for legacy MX420, MX510 and MX512 installations. The familiar touch menu makes it easy to operate, while the high-clarity display offers excellent contrast and a long viewing distance for clear data visibility on the bridge.

The system supports a wide range of I/O signal types and connects over NMEA 2000, NMEA 0183, Ethernet (IEC 61162-450) and a pulse speed log input. It is scalable with MX610JB or MX612JB junction boxes, allowing up to 12 NMEA 0183 serial ports, and is IMO approved for SOLAS vessels.
