Description
The Garmin 77 bronze thru-hull transducer is an Airmar B619 housing supplied with a 20 degree tilted element, aligning the acoustic beam vertically on hulls with a deadrise of 16 to 24 degrees. Its dual-beam 77/200 kHz element provides depth and water-temperature data, the wide 77 kHz beam covering more of the water column for fish location and the narrow 200 kHz beam delivering sharp bottom detail at speed.
The bronze housing is well suited to fibreglass and wooden hulls and must not be fitted to aluminium or stainless-steel boats, where galvanic interaction with the bronze can corrode the hull or the housing. The transducer terminates in an 8-pin Garmin connector on a 30 ft cable, with an adapter required for 4-pin or 12-pin Garmin sounders. Supplied with installation hardware and instructions.
