Description
The Icom SP-37 is a weatherproof external hailer horn speaker supplied with a mounting bracket for installation on deck or a mast. It is designed to work with the hailer and foghorn functions of compatible Icom fixed-mount marine VHF radios, broadcasting loud, clear audio across the water and around the vessel. With a maximum input power of 40W and a robust horn design, it projects voice hailing and automatic foghorn signals over a wide area, an important safety feature in poor visibility. Stripped and tinned bare-wire termination on its 35cm cable makes wiring into the radio straightforward. The SP-37 pairs with hailer-capable radios such as the IC-M330GE, IC-M423G, IC-M506GE, IC-M605EURO and the IC-M510 series.
