Description
The Mastervolt AGM 12/225 (group 8D) is a high-capacity 12 volt, 225Ah absorbed glass mat battery for demanding marine and mobile electrical systems. In an AGM battery the electrolyte is largely absorbed in glass fibre, so the battery is completely maintenance-free and produces no gas under normal use. Its sealed construction allows installation in almost any position and makes it a straightforward upgrade from a conventional flooded lead-acid battery.
The construction gives very fast discharge at high currents, delivering an excellent starter function alongside generous reserve capacity for medium cyclic use. Glass-fibre technology keeps internal resistance low and thicker plates help extend service life. The battery poles can be unscrewed, so the AGM 12/225 works with every standard Mastervolt battery terminal. Each battery carries a two year warranty.
