Description
The Mastervolt AGM 12/55 (group 24) is a 12 volt, 55Ah absorbed glass mat battery for marine and mobile electrical systems. In an AGM battery the electrolyte is largely absorbed in glass fibre, so the battery is completely maintenance-free and produces no gas under normal use. This sealed design lets it be installed in almost any position and makes it a simple upgrade from a conventional flooded lead-acid battery.
Its construction gives very fast discharge at high currents, so it delivers an excellent starter function while also coping with medium cyclic use. Glass-fibre technology keeps internal resistance low and thicker plates help extend service life. The battery poles can be unscrewed, so the AGM 12/55 works with every standard Mastervolt battery terminal. Each battery carries a two year warranty.
