Description
The Mastervolt MVG 12/55 is a 12 volt, 55Ah gel battery built for reliable service duty and frequent cycling. In a gel battery the electrolyte is absorbed into a gel, so the battery is completely maintenance-free and produces no gas in normal use. Because no extra ventilation is needed, it can be installed in almost any position.
Gel chemistry gives an extremely long service life and tolerates intensive cycling with a high number of charge and discharge cycles, while a very low self-discharge keeps the battery ready between uses. It also accepts a high charge current for fast recharging, making it a strong service battery for medium and large 12 and 24 volt systems and a sound long-term investment. The MVG 12/55 carries a two year warranty.
