Description
The Mac Plus 12/12-50 is a non-isolated DC-DC charger that maintains a 12 V service battery from a 12 V source at up to 50 A (725 W). It monitors the service battery and compensates for cable voltage drop, using the proven Mastervolt 3-step+ charge algorithm to deliver a quick, safe charge even to completely flat batteries. Engine-run detection ensures the starter battery is never drained.
Ideal for boats, service vans, campers and trucks, it also works with Euro 5/6 smart alternators, supplying constant power even when the alternator is inactive. A fanless aluminium housing keeps the unit silent and well protected (IP23), and it supports flooded, Gel, AGM and Lithium Ion batteries. Several units can be run in parallel for capacities well over 100 A, with MasterBus available for intelligent system monitoring.
This model is no longer part of the current Mastervolt Mac Plus range.
