Description
The R70161 seal pack contains replacement sealing rings for the Evolution EV-1 and EV-2 sensor cores. The EV sensor seals against its mounting tray with large and small rings that keep the IPx6-rated installation weathertight on deck; the rings are disturbed whenever the sensor is removed and, like any exposed elastomer, age in sunlight. The EV-1 installation instructions (document 87472, chapter 19) list this pack as the official spare. Renewing the rings during seasonal maintenance keeps water out of the mounting and preserves the sensor's deck seal. The matching wall bracket spare is R70162 and the deck mounting kit is A80437.
