Description

The ChargeMaster Plus 24/20-3 is an all-in-one 24V battery charger that delivers efficient, reliable charging in demanding marine and mobile environments. Mastervolt's 'Battery's Best Friend' architecture uses the fast and safe 3-step+ charging method, suiting gel, AGM, flooded and lithium ion batteries, with a user-defined profile for other chemistries.

Three outputs share a total of 20A at 28.5V, and automatic current distribution sends charge to the bank that needs it most. Pre-float functionality lets you combine batteries of different sizes without overcharging the smaller ones. Compatible with mains voltages and frequencies worldwide, the charger works standalone as a plug-and-play unit or integrates fully into a MasterBus or CZone system, reporting input quality, charger performance and battery voltage and temperature.

Improved cooling keeps noise low across the power range, while a compact, galvanically isolated casing handles high temperatures and significant voltage fluctuations.

Which battery types can the ChargeMaster Plus 24/20-3 charge?
It charges gel, AGM, flooded and lithium ion batteries using the 3-step+ method, and also offers a user-defined profile for other chemistries.
How many battery banks can it charge at once?
The 24/20-3 has up to three battery outputs and shares a total of 20A at 28.5V between them, with automatic current distribution based on each battery's condition.
Can I use it anywhere in the world?
Yes. It accepts a nominal input of 120/240V (80-275V) at 50/60Hz, so it works with mains voltages and frequencies worldwide.
What information can it report over MasterBus or CZone?
It can report the presence and quality of the power input, charger performance, and the voltage and temperature of the connected batteries, and can be monitored and configured from a display.
What battery bank size is recommended?
Mastervolt recommends a battery bank size of 80 to 200 Ah for the 24/20-3.
