Description

The ChargeMaster Plus 24/30-3 is an all-in-one 24 V battery charger built to deliver efficient, reliable charging in the most demanding marine and mobile environments. Combining multiple functions into one compact device, it removes the need for additional chargers, simplifying the installation and reducing overall system cost. The 'Battery's Best Friend' architecture lets it charge virtually any battery chemistry, including Lithium Ion, Gel, AGM and flooded, using the fast and safe 3-step+ charging method.

Three outputs share the available current automatically, distributing charge according to the condition of each battery, while pre-float protection prevents smaller batteries from being overcharged when different sizes are combined. Compatible with worldwide mains voltages and frequencies, and connectable through MasterBus, CZone and NMEA 2000, the charger works equally well as a plug-and-play standalone unit or as part of a fully monitored onboard system.

Which battery types can the ChargeMaster Plus 24/30-3 charge?
It charges Gel, AGM, flooded and Lithium Ion batteries using the automatic 3-step+ (IUoUo) charge characteristic, and also supports a user-defined profile for other chemistries.
How many batteries can it charge at once?
The 24/30-3 has up to three battery outputs and shares its 30 A total charge current automatically based on the condition of each connected battery.
What size battery bank does it suit?
Mastervolt recommends a battery bank of 120-240 Ah for this model.
Can different battery sizes be connected together?
Yes. The pre-float function prevents overcharging, so smaller and larger batteries can safely be combined across the outputs.
What communication interfaces does it offer?
It connects via MasterBus, CZone and NMEA 2000, allowing monitoring and configuration through a compatible display, and it can also be used as a standalone plug-and-play charger.
