Description

The Raymarine YachtSense Master Module is the brains of the YachtSense Digital Control System and the starting point for every installation. It is the central processor that maps your vessel's wiring to the digital switching pages shown on a connected Raymarine chartplotter, giving complete command of lighting, pumps, motors and other electrical loads from one screen.

The Master Module is the main connection point to the Raymarine Axiom chartplotter network, linking the system over both RayNet Ethernet and a SeaTalkng / NMEA 2000 backbone. Two J1939 and two RS-485 connections allow integration of OEM smart devices such as air-conditioning units and chillers. A 1.8 inch colour LCD with button controls provides manual override, channel status and on-module diagnostics. Remote modules are added over SeaTalkng to expand the system to as many as 400 channels, and the Master Module ships complete with a YachtSense Power supply module.

Is the Master module required for every YachtSense system?
Yes. The Master module is the central processor and is required for all installation scenarios. As a minimum a YachtSense system consists of a Master module and a Power supply module, both of which are supplied together.
Which displays can control the YachtSense Master module?
The YachtSense Digital Control System is controlled by compatible Raymarine chartplotters (MFDs) - the Axiom and Axiom 2 series - connected via both RayNet Ethernet and SeaTalkng. It can also be controlled by the Raymarine app (version 2.0 or later).
What do the J1939 and RS-485 connections do?
The Master module provides 2 x J1939 and 2 x RS-485 connections for auxiliary-network communication with OEM smart devices such as air-conditioning units and chillers.
How large can a YachtSense system grow?
Remote modules are added over SeaTalkng to expand the system. Up to 6 input/output modules connect to each Master or Remote assembly, each assembly is limited to 100 A, and the whole system supports up to 400 channels.
Does the Master module include a power supply?
Yes. The Master module is supplied with a YachtSense Power supply module, which connects to the vessel's power supply at the end of the module assembly.
