Description

The GPSMAP 8617 is the compact 8600-series take on the 17-inch glass-helm display, built around a sunlight-readable WUXGA IPS touchscreen. In-plane switching delivers consistent, accurate colours from wide viewing angles, while auto-dimming keeps the display comfortable in low light or at night. The glass design lets you install multiple displays with a low flush-mount profile, or flat mount them edge-to-edge for a sleek helm.

One-touch access brings essential information to your fingertips, and standard USB touch output lets the 8617 double as a touchscreen monitor for Windows and Mac. Wi-Fi, ANT, Bluetooth and NMEA 2000 connect the display into the Garmin Marine Network, sharing radar, sonar, cameras and instruments across helms, while OneHelm compatibility extends touchscreen control to supported third-party systems. The rugged housing carries an IPX7 water rating.
