Description

The Garmin GT34UHD-TH brings Ultra High-Definition ClearVu and SideVu scanning sonar to a flush thru-hull fitting. Operating at 800 kHz (UHD ClearVu) and 1,200 kHz (UHD SideVu) with 500 W, it delivers stunningly clear, high-resolution images of structure and fish below the boat (to 200 ft) and out to the sides (125 ft each side, 250 ft total). A fairing block, isolation plate and bushings are included so it can be flush-mounted on hulls of 0 to 5 degrees deadrise and on metal hulls, and at least one anti-rotation bolt is required. A built-in fast-response water temperature sensor is fitted. The 12-pin transducer plugs directly into a GPSMAP 8600xsv or ECHOMAP Ultra series chartplotter, or connects through the GCV 20 sonar module to display on other compatible chartplotters. For higher-deadrise hulls, the GT34UHD-THP pair extends SideVu coverage.

What sonar does the GT34UHD-TH provide?
It provides Ultra High-Definition Garmin ClearVu (800 kHz) and Ultra High-Definition SideVu (1,200 kHz) scanning sonar at 500 W, giving very high-resolution images. UHD ClearVu reads to 200 ft and UHD SideVu to 125 ft each side (250 ft total). It does not include a traditional sonar element.
What do I need to display the GT34UHD-TH?
It uses a 12-pin connector and plugs directly into a GPSMAP 8600xsv or ECHOMAP Ultra series chartplotter. To use it with other compatible chartplotters, connect it through the GCV 20 sonar module; some combinations require an adapter cable.
What hull deadrise does it suit?
The single GT34UHD-TH supports hulls of 0 to 5 degrees deadrise. For hulls up to 25 degrees deadrise, choose the GT34UHD-THP pair, which splits SideVu across two transducers to keep clear side coverage.
Does it read water temperature?
Yes, it has a built-in fast-response water temperature sensor.
