Description
The Mastervolt AGM 12/160 (group 4D) is a 12 volt, 160Ah absorbed glass mat battery for marine and mobile electrical systems. In an AGM battery the electrolyte is largely absorbed in glass fibre, so the battery is completely maintenance-free and produces no gas under normal use. Its sealed construction allows installation in almost any position and makes it a straightforward upgrade from a conventional flooded lead-acid battery.
The construction gives very fast discharge at high currents, delivering an excellent starter function while also handling medium cyclic use. Glass-fibre technology keeps internal resistance low and thicker plates help extend service life. The battery poles can be unscrewed, so the AGM 12/160 works with every standard Mastervolt battery terminal. Each battery carries a two year warranty.
