Description

The Raymarine CP470 is a 2 kW CHIRP sonar module that delivers best-in-class fishfinding and high-resolution sonar imagery to compatible Raymarine LightHouse multifunction displays. Using a wide spectrum of frequencies and greater sensitivity, the CP470's advanced CHIRP transceiver can see through dense schools of baitfish, identify thermoclines and simultaneously target the game fish you are after.

Designed for offshore use and rough conditions, the CP470 intelligently filters out unwanted noise while producing high-resolution targets and reliable bottom tracking down to 3,000 m (10,000 ft). With ten times the resolution of ordinary sonar and TruZoom magnification, it reveals extra detail without any loss of clarity, and its two adjustable CHIRP channels can be viewed and controlled independently on screen.

The module automatically recognises connected transducers and optimises its settings, and connects to the network over RayNet. Choose from low, medium and high CHIRP frequency transducers in standard or wide-beam to match your fishing.

What is the Raymarine CP470?
The CP470 is a 2 kW CHIRP sonar module. It adds best-in-class CHIRP fishfinding and high-resolution sonar imagery to a compatible Raymarine LightHouse multifunction display, connecting over the RayNet network.
How much power and depth range does the CP470 offer?
The CP470 produces up to 2 kW of sonar power across a 25 kHz to 255 kHz frequency range, and tracks the sea floor from 0.6 m (2 ft) down to 3,000 m (10,000 ft), depending on the transducer fitted.
What is the difference between the CP470 and CP570?
Both are 2 kW CHIRP modules. The CP470 provides two adjustable CHIRP channels from a single transceiver, while the CP570 has two fully independent 2 kW channels (up to 4 kW combined) for faster target identification and serious offshore and tournament fishing.
Which transducers work with the CP470?
The CP470 supports low, medium and high CHIRP frequency transducers in standard or wide-beam, including the B175, B275, R111, SS175, TM265 and PM-series families. The module automatically recognises the connected transducer and optimises its settings.
What is included in the box?
The CP470 ships with the sonar module, a 1.5 m (5 ft) power cable, four No. 8 fixing screws, a cable ferrite, an additional ground wire kit, a 2 m (6.56 ft) RayNet to RayNet network cable and documentation. The transducer is ordered separately.
