Description
The Blue Smart IP65 Charger is the professional choice for keeping batteries healthy on boats, RVs, motorcycles and classic vehicles. Its IP65 enclosure is splash proof, dust proof and ignition protected, and the charger is completely silent with no fan or moving parts.
Built-in Bluetooth lets you read voltage and current, choose a battery profile and view history from the free VictronConnect app. A seven-step smart charge algorithm gets the best from the battery, while storage mode keeps it healthy through long periods of inactivity rather than applying a constant trickle. Temperature compensated charging is automatic, the charger recovers deeply discharged batteries from zero volts, and it can also run as a DC power supply.
This 24 V, 5 A single-output model is the 120 V variant, supplied with a US NEMA 1-15 plug and rated for a 100-130 VAC supply. With efficiency up to 94% and under 1 W consumption once charged, it wastes far less energy as heat than conventional chargers.

Which batteries can this charger be used with?
It charges 24 V lead-acid batteries (flooded, AGM and gel) with a 7-stage smart algorithm, and lithium-ion (LiFePO4) batteries with a dedicated Li-ion algorithm including automatic under-voltage protection reset. The battery type is selected in the VictronConnect app.
How weatherproof is the IP65 charger?
The enclosure is rated IP65, so it is splash proof, dust proof and ignition protected, making it suitable for marine and workshop use. It is fanless and completely silent.
Does it need a separate temperature sensor?
No. The charger measures ambient temperature during the test phase and again at low current, and compensates the charge voltage automatically at 32 mV/C for lead-acid batteries, so no special cold or hot settings are needed.
Can it recover a fully discharged battery?
Yes. Unlike most reverse-polarity-protected chargers, it will attempt to recharge a fully discharged battery with low current and resume normal charging once sufficient voltage develops across the terminals.
What AC supply does this version need?
This is the 120 V version. It accepts a 100-130 VAC supply and is fitted with a 1.8 m cable and a US NEMA 1-15 plug.
