FPM100-01
The Maretron FPM100 Fluid Pressure Monitor interfaces up to six pressure transducers to an NMEA 2000 network. Each channel can report pressure or vacuum, or be switched to tank-level mode for monitoring difficult tanks. Fluid pressures and levels can then be viewed on any compatible display.

Description

The Maretron FPM100 Fluid Pressure Monitor connects up to six pressure transducers to the NMEA 2000 network, letting you observe fluid pressures and tank levels anywhere there is a compatible display. Transducers are sold separately, and with the appropriate transducer the FPM100 reports either pressure or vacuum for applications such as water pressure, oil pressure, hydraulic pressure, or system vacuum to detect a clogged filter.

Each of the six channels is independently programmable, both to match the characteristics of its transducer and to select pressure/vacuum mode or tank-level mode. In tank-level mode a transducer mounted at the bottom of a tank reports the fluid level over the network, making it ideal for tanks that are extremely deep, contain internal structures, or are otherwise unsuited to conventional level senders. The channel can be calibrated for irregular tank shapes so the reported level is accurate.

As part of a Maretron monitoring system the FPM100 lets pressures and levels be displayed, logged and alarmed alongside the rest of your vessel data.

Are pressure transducers included?
No. The FPM100-01 is the monitor only. Pressure transducers such as the PT-0-xxxPSI-01 range or submersible PTS series are ordered separately to suit the pressure you wish to measure.
How does tank-level mode work?
A pressure transducer is mounted at the bottom of the tank and the FPM100 converts the measured head of fluid into a level reading. This suits deep tanks or tanks with internal structures, and each channel can be calibrated for irregular tank shapes.
Can one FPM100 handle mixed pressure and tank applications?
Yes. Each of the six channels is independently configured, so you can run some channels in pressure or vacuum mode and others in tank-level mode from the same unit.
