Description
The Garmin GT30-TH is a 12-pin thru-hull transducer that delivers Garmin ClearVu and SideVu CHIRP scanning sonar at 455 and 800 kHz, optimised for clearer images at shallow depths. The 500 W elements give picture-like detail of structure and fish below the boat (ClearVu to 750 ft) and out to the sides (SideVu 250 ft each side, 500 ft total). A fairing block, isolation plate and bushings are included so it can be flush-mounted on hulls of 0 to 5 degrees deadrise and on metal hulls, and Garmin requires at least one anti-rotation bolt. A built-in fast-response water temperature sensor is fitted. It connects via a 12-pin sonar port to compatible Garmin chartplotters and the GCV 20 or GSD 25 sonar black box. For higher-deadrise hulls, the GT30-THP thru-hull pair extends SideVu coverage.
