Description
The Garmin GT30-THP is a matched port-and-starboard pair of 12-pin thru-hull transducers delivering Garmin ClearVu and SideVu CHIRP scanning sonar at 455 and 800 kHz. With 500 W per element, the pair produces picture-like detail of structure and fish below the boat (ClearVu to 750 ft) and out to the sides (SideVu 250 ft each side, 500 ft total). Splitting SideVu across two hull-mounted transducers lets the system maintain clear side coverage on hulls of up to 25 degrees deadrise. Two fairing blocks, isolation plates and bushings are included, with at least one anti-rotation bolt required per transducer, and a built-in fast-response water temperature sensor. The two transducers join via the included Y-cable to a Garmin sonar black box (GCV 20 or GSD 25) and compatible 12-pin chartplotters.

Why is the GT30-THP supplied as a pair?
A single SideVu transducer needs a near-flat mounting to see evenly to both sides. Splitting SideVu across two hull-mounted transducers, one angled to each side, lets the GT30-THP keep clear side coverage on hulls of up to 25 degrees deadrise. The two transducers join to a sonar black box via the included Y-cable.
