Victron MultiPlus-II GX 24/3000/70-32 Inverter/Charger

The Victron MultiPlus-II 24/3000/70 GX combines a sine wave inverter, a battery charger and an automatic AC transfer switch with a built-in GX device, all in one compact 24 V enclosure. It produces a clean 230 VAC output for everyday loads, while the integrated charger keeps the battery bank topped up whenever shore power or a generator is available. Transfer between mains and inverter operation is automatic and completes in under 20 milliseconds, so computers and other sensitive electronics carry on running through a grid failure without interruption. PowerControl lets you set a maximum shore or generator current, using only the spare capacity for charging so a limited source is never overloaded, while PowerAssist adds battery power on top of the supply to cover short, heavy peaks before recharging once the load eases. An optional external AC current sensor (50 A or 100 A) can extend this range and help optimise self-consumption, and the second AC output makes it easy to shed non-critical loads. The unit is ESS ready with built-in anti-islanding for grid-parallel energy storage, and it is configured through VEConfigure with an MK3-USB interface. The key advantage of this GX model is its built-in GX device, which provides system monitoring and control and connects directly to the free VRM portal, so there is no need for a separate Cerbo GX or other external GX device. This simplifies installation and reduces the parts count while still giving full local and remote visibility of the system. Up to six units can be paralleled and three units configured for three-phase operation, and the robust steel housing, full protection suite and wide operating temperature range suit it to marine, off-grid and backup use.
