Description
The Mastervolt Alpha Pro III is an advanced three-step charge regulator that turns any standard or high-performance alternator into a fully temperature-controlled charger. It lets you use the boat or vehicle engine to charge service batteries quickly and safely, whether under way or at rest, while protecting both the engine and the batteries.
The Alpha Pro III measures battery temperature and voltage to prevent overcharging, and monitors engine load to reduce sound variations, wear and tear. Its smart keep-alive feature ensures reliable tachometer readings, and via MasterBus it shares rpm, alternator status and charge status to build intelligent power systems. With up to 20 amps of field current it can control alternators rated as high as 400 A, and it suits every battery type including lithium ion on both 12 V and 24 V systems.
