Description
The Garmin GT51M-THP is a matched port-and-starboard pair of 12-pin thru-hull transducers combining mid-band CHIRP traditional sonar (85 to 165 kHz) with Garmin ClearVu and SideVu CHIRP scanning sonar (260 and 455 kHz). With 600 W traditional power to 1,800 ft and 500 W per scanning element, the pair delivers strong depth performance, ClearVu detail to 1,000 ft and wide SideVu coverage to 750 ft. Splitting SideVu across two hull-mounted transducers keeps clear side coverage on hulls of up to 25 degrees deadrise. Two fairing blocks and bushings are included, with at least one anti-rotation bolt required per transducer, plus a built-in fast-response water temperature sensor. The two transducers join via the included Y-cable to a Garmin sonar black box (GCV 20 or GSD 25) and compatible 12-pin chartplotters.
