Description

The Airmar TM185M is a powerful transom-mount Medium CHIRP transducer offering 1 kW of output across 85 to 135 kHz. Its single broadband ceramic element resolves fish in shallow, murky and medium-depth water with ultra-clear target detail to a maximum of around 1,500 ft (457 m). The focused 16 to 11 degree beam concentrates energy for clean returns, making it an economical route to serious offshore sonar on boats up to 10 m (32 ft) without a thru-hull fitting.

The rugged urethane housing mounts on an adjustable stainless steel bracket and suits fibreglass, wood and metal hulls at a transom angle of 3 to 21 degrees. A built-in depth and fast-response water-temperature sensor is included. The transducer terminates in a Navico XSonic black 9-pin connector for a direct connection to compatible 9-pin Simrad and Lowrance displays; legacy 7-pin XSonic displays connect using the 000-13977-001 adapter cable.
