Description
The Simrad Halo20 packs solid-state pulse compression radar into a compact 20-inch dome, delivering up to 24 nautical miles of range alongside excellent short-range detection down to a 6 m minimum. With no magnetron, InstantOn technology brings it to life straight from standby with no warm-up period, and its low 10 W transmit power keeps it radiation-safe for operation with crew on deck.
Harbour, Offshore and Weather modes tune the advanced signal processing for the conditions at hand, while MARPA tracking follows up to 10 targets to aid collision avoidance. Drawing 17-20 W in operation and just 3.9 W on standby, the Halo20 is an efficient upgrade that connects over Ethernet to compatible Simrad multifunction displays and ships with a 10 m interconnection cable.
