Description

The Simrad NSX 3009 is a 9 inch chartplotter and fishfinder supplied as a display-only unit, ready to pair with the transducer of your choice. It introduces a redesigned, touch-first operating system with a redesigned charting experience, Simrad's fastest-ever autorouting and seamless integration for total control of your boat.

The SolarMAX IPS touchscreen stays clear in direct sunlight and through polarised lenses, while the Setup Wizard and Simrad companion app make the unit quick to set up and easy to manage. Internal high-speed GPS, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, NMEA 2000 and Ethernet allow you to expand with Simrad sonar, HALO radar and NAC autopilot systems, and the IPX6 and IPX7 rating keeps it protected at an exposed helm.

It has a 9 inch SolarMAX IPS touchscreen with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels and brightness greater than 1200 nits.
Does this NSX 3009 include a transducer?
No. This is the display-only version, supplied without a transducer so you can choose your own. The 9-pin echosounder port supports CHIRP sonar, DownScan, SideScan, Active Imaging, TotalScan and StructureScan.
Is the NSX 3009 a touchscreen and does it have built-in GPS?
Yes. It has a full multi-touch screen and an internal 10 Hz high-speed GPS supporting WAAS, MSAS, EGNOS and GLONASS.
How does the NSX 3009 network with other equipment?
It has Wi-Fi (802.11b/g/n), Bluetooth, a NMEA 2000 port and an Ethernet port, so you can add Simrad sonar, HALO radar and NAC autopilot systems.
