Description

The Simrad HALO 300X is the 130 W open array radar pedestal from the HALO 3000 series, supplied without an antenna so you can specify the 3, 4 or 6 ft array that best suits your boat and budget. With the punch of a 25 kW magnetron radar from an all solid-state design, a fitted system detects targets from 6 metres out to 96 nautical miles with the clarity that pulse compression delivers across both short and long range.

Preset Harbour, Offshore, Weather and Bird modes need no manual tuning, while Bird+ mode concentrates the radar on finding flocks of birds, and the fish beneath them, at up to 8 nautical miles. ZoneTrack follows up to 50 vessels within defined areas, VelocityTrack Doppler colour-codes targets by relative motion, and Dangerous Target Alerts highlight the range, bearing and heading of nearby craft. The pedestal is ready instantly from standby and within 16 to 25 seconds from a cold start, shares the HALO array footprint for straightforward upgrades, and is supplied with the RI-50 power supply and a 20 m power and Ethernet cable. It connects to Simrad NSS, NSX, NSO and GO displays.
